Travel Stories and Pictures from China

I arrived here in Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia, China, on 12 March 2005 to begin work teaching oral English at Inner Mongolia Medical College. Since many of my friends and family are interested in hearing about my experiences here (or are too polite to say they aren't really interested ;-), I decided the easiest way to share my stories and pictures is to create them as pages on a website, allowing me to e-mail only the URL to people and them to check out as many or as few of the stories and pictures as they wish. I hope these pages will continue to grow in number and will expand to include other parts of China as my time here continues.

Since my story writing and picture sorting must be worked in around my English teaching, Internet business, and, of course, having the adventures I write about, I've put minimal work into formatting the web pages. As a result, the pages are quite simple, but, I hope, interesting and perhaps useful.

Below is a list of the available stories so far. I hope you enjoy them!
